About

April 21st, 2010

Knobtweakers is an electronic music blog founded in 2004 by Eric Hamilton (aka Dilvie). It quickly grew to become one of the most popular Mp3 blogs in the world, eventually serving one million Mp3 downloads monthly. In addition to offering electronic music Mp3s, Knobtweakers operated a netlabel imprint, and hosted weekly parties in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The site ceased operations in 2008, due to the overwhelming cost of bandwidth – but things have changed since then. Storage and bandwidth costs have come down, and viable third party music hosts have sprung up. Knobtweakers never stopped believing.

Our mission is and always was to help talented artists reach a larger audience. That mission was interrupted for too long – but no more.

Welcome back to Knobtweakers. It’s a new day.
